"Adriano Pamain Mwandola (PhD) is a Lecturer in the Department of Physics, University of Dodoma. He holds a Diploma in Global Capacity Development Programme on Renewable Energy, BSc.Ed degree majoring in Physics and Mathematics, MSc. degree in Material Science and Engineering Specializing in Material Energy and a PhD in Physics, specializing in Solar Energy (Photovoltaics) . Adriano has technical experience on Lab works, installation and sizing of Photovoltaic module for both Stand alone and grid connected. His further reseach interest includes Design, optimization, and performance analysis of photovoltaic (PV) systems, Exploring novel materials, advanced manufacturing techniques, and system integration strategies to enhance PV efficiency and reliability, exploring emerging technologies in the field of solar energy, including bifacial solar panels, thin-film technologies, and next-generation PV materials, with a focus on improving efficiency and reducing costs, Investigating the integration of solar energy into existing grids and explores microgrid architectures, energy storage solutions, and smart grid technologies to facilitate seamless integration of renewable energy sources, Energy Modeling and Simulation by Utilizing tools such as Pvsyst, PVSOL, RETScreen, and others. Developing models and simulations to assess the performance and economic feasibility of solar energy projects under varying environmental and operational conditions, Investigating the environmental impact of solar energy deployment, including life cycle assessments (LCA), carbon footprint analyses, and strategies for minimizing ecological footprints associated with renewable energy projects, Exploring community-led initiatives for deploying renewable energy solutions, emphasizing local engagement, empowerment, and sustainable development goals.
