Dr. Lutengano Mwinuka is an Agricultural Economist, Researcher and Consultant who also works at Department of Economics, UDOM in Tanzania as Senior Lecturer. He has worked with numerous research institutions within and outside Tanzania, holding different titles. Mwinuka has extensive knowledge and experience in carrying out researches and consultancies particularly in the area of value chain upgrading, livelihoods, innovative solutions, and social relations and cash transfers on vulnerable/marginalized groups. Recently, Mwinuka led diversified assessments and consultancies from World Bank, World Vision Tanzania, Agricultural Council of Tanzania, Tanzania Federation of Cooperatives (TFC), SWISSAID Tanzania, Rikolto East Africa, Solidaridad, Trias East Africa, Sustainet Group and GIZ. Dr. Mwinuka is also a Visiting Researcher under CASH-IN: Privately Managed Cash-Transfers in Africa a collaborative project implemented by Roskilde University (RUC, Denmark), The University of Dodoma (UDOM), and Makerere University (MU, Uganda) supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark (MFA) through Danida Fellowship Centre (DFC).
